§  12Apr19, p.7. In order to add an additional thought to this page, a footnote was added, some moved into the footnote from original text on the page: 1 Transitioning from immortality to mortality took centuries as the blood in the Patriarchs’ veins became more dominant by continually eating mortal foods, instead of spiritual vegetation their first parents ate in the Garden. The spirit fluid in their veins gradually accommodated the blood. At first the Patriarchs waited 65-187 years, all the while consuming mortal foods, before having their firstborn child in order to reduce their overall longevities down to 120 years (see p.10). It went slowly. But Noah waited nearly 500 years. This then expedited the desired effect to reduce the longevity of mortals down to the goal of 120 years. p.15. “See p.18” added at end of first paragraph. p18. A link (only seen in the eKindle version) to p.15 was made.

§  22Apr19, p.63. A dilemma whether to fix this one. The pdf copy of the Annals downloaded and used for this book itself has some errors in it. Little attempt has deliberately been made to fix them. But as this one can refer back to the wrong subject, it was decided to correct it. At one place “the brothers of Peleg” should read “the brother of Peleg.” Note that this was done also added.

§  25Apr19, p.64. The “Tower of Babel” was made into bold font to stand out better. Also, a note was added to the pdf copy: “(Ddd note: thus, Noah was 696 years old at the time of Babel, if this deduction by Syncellus’ is correct [Doddridge:2444BC–(1753BC–5)=696; Ussher: 2948BC-(2247-5)=706]. About the Book

An Issue w Ussher Description

This book addresses some questionable conclusions made by Archbishop Ussher in his book The Annals of the World. These dubious suppositions deal with the “beginning of time” and the start of our mortal history. These disputable concepts become more evident when averaging techniques are applied to cover unknown variables in the Biblical patriarchal descendancy – in particular, the downward trend of the ages of father’s having their first-born sons. This data is vital to estimate where we now are in the span of humanity’s 6,000-year temporal existence, and how much time remains before the Second Coming. Using averages based on scriptural actuals to cover incomplete Biblical data will show a quantitative variance between Archbishop Ussher’s dating of our genealogy to what should be a more accurate one. 

It also establishes the birth of Christ to be directly in the “meridian” of the earth’s 7,000 (6,000-year mortal and 1,000-year millennium) existence. Further, the possible role of evolution with its Pre-Adamites is also considered. Regarding “The Beginning of Time,” the Doddridge Chronology departs from standard creationist thinking to evaluate a number of related doctrines and theories. 

• The reality of evolution and how it fits into scriptural explanations. 

• That Adam with his fellow immortals began their miscegenation and colonization of the earth in what today is Missouri, The United States instead of an obscure location in Asia. 

• That Noah likely lived with his ancient forefathers also in ancient America, and therefore had no access to the rest of the world to collect animals native to various distant lands. 

• What kinds of animals boarded the Ark, and who perished in the Flood.
